Normally I’m quite excited about sale shopping but this year I just really wanted to spend some nice relaxing days at home and not brave the hoards of people at the stores. Luckily thanks to Internet shopping I made most of my purchases online and here’s a few things I bought in the sale!
Firstly, I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas! What did you all get up to? I had such a relaxing day, eating food, opening presents and watching telly. 
Yesterday I was wearing the most minimal amount of makeup, keeping it light and fresh, enough to look presentable on camera for the Christmas snaps! Now, generally when it comes to my brows, I’m already pretty low maintenance. I get them threaded every few weeks or so and if I’m wearing makeup I’ll just give them a once over with an eyebrow pencil and spooly!
Lately though I’ve noticed my Lancôme Le Crayon Poudre eyebrow pencil actually looks quite harsh on me and a tad unnatural, so I decided to opt for a proper eyebrow shaping kit and came upon Benefit’s Brow Zings.
When it’s party season I always like to wear something sparkly on my nails! At my recent work Christmas party I opted for a burgundy red dress and thought this gorgeous Nailgirls Gold Nail Polish would work perfectly.
In the run up to Christmas, my stress levels are generally running quite high! There’s presents to buy, lots of people to see and I feel like there’s not enough time to do everything! I always say “next year I’ll be more organised,” but sadly I never am… Anyway! This Works Dream Team is something I’ve seen circulating round the blogosphere, in particular on Christmas gift guide posts so I thought I’d treat myself a little and see if it lives up to the hype!
Well Saturday was a rather eventful day for me! As well as attending the spectacular BBloggersxmas event during the day, that night I finally got to go to the Big Bang Alive Tour 2012 concert at Wembley Arena!
On Saturday I had the pleasure of being in the company of a lot of great bloggers at the BBloggersxmas event held at the Reebok Bar, Canary Wharf, hosted by Lola and Victoria!
So it’s exactly 2 weeks until Christmas!

I have been a devoted Aussie fan for a long time but after coming across Zoella‘s post on her favourite hair care, I was really enthused about trying the Tigi S Factor Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner!
Skin care in the winter for me normally involves a lot of body butter. My skin can get dry quite quickly and the only way I feel fully moisturised is if I really work some heavy duty lotion into my skin such as Palmers Cocoa Butter.
I haven’t done a FOTD post for a long time but as this weekend was a rather special one I thought I’d share my finished makeup look with you! So on Saturday my boyfriend and I attended our friends’ wedding and here’s how I had my makeup!
