Palmers Cocoa Butter Review
Skin care in the winter for me normally involves a lot of body butter. My skin can get dry quite quickly and the only way I feel fully moisturised is if I really work some heavy duty lotion into my skin such as Palmers Cocoa Butter.
Palmers is a long-standing brand which is known to so many people all over the world. Their body butters are easily one of my all time favourites! I’ve tried a number of different brands, but I’ve not come across one yet that quite lives up to Palmers which is why I’ve recently gone back to using it.
The lotion is very rich, smoothing and above all moisturising. A little goes a long way, it’s easily absorbed and my skin is instantly super soft! The smell of cocoa is another reason why I love Palmers Cocoa Butter so much but there is also a fragrance free version for more sensitive skin types. It claims to smooth marks and tone skin, and the latter I do have some belief in but I haven’t noticed much difference with smoothing marks which is a bit of a downfall.
I’m currently using the 170g tub (£4.99) at home, but for travelling around at the weekend I’ve got the 60g tube (£2.25) which fits perfectly into my overnight bag.
The price is slightly dearer that your average Nivea or Vaseline but given how concentrated the formula is you would expect a slight difference in price. You can pick up Palmers Body Butter and various other products from their range at Boots, Superdrug and most supermarkets.
Have you tried Palmer’s Cocoa Butter? Do you have a favourite brand you always reach for?
