I’m really in love with Stila cosmetics at the moment and already have 2 lovely eyeshadow palettes in my collection, but I wanted to add to that so I picked up the Stila Smudge Pot in Kitten along with a few other things!
I originally had my heart set on the ‘In The Light’ palette, but after much umming and ahhing I decided on Stila’s ‘In The Moment’ eyeshadow palette. I generally wear subtle colours (taupe, bronze and gold) during the day time and for work but every now and then I like to add a pop of colour which is why ‘In The Moment’ was the ultimate balance.
Eyeshadows – I love to play around with them as much as the next person, but ultimately for me, nothing beats a good neutral colour which you can just swipe on to give your eyes a hint of sparkle! I have a growing collection of earthy, brown/bronze shades and have recently added a new one to the family, the Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24 Hour eyeshadow.

Since it’s still only really the beginning of the month, my bank balance has been looking pretty healthy, hence the sudden splurge. As with the foundation, I’ve never actually purchased any eyeshadows by Chanel before – my go to brand for eyeshadows has always been MAC.
