Bourjois Bronzing Powder Review

I don’t generally wear much bronzer, but having noticed that I seemed to have lost my summer glow I suddenly felt compelled to have some bronze in my life! Whilst I am happy to be able to use my paler foundations again, I definitely miss the sunkissed look. Luckily bronzers are available all year round so I picked up the Bourjois Bronzing Powder to satisfy my needs until warmer seasons!

The Bourjois Bronzing Powder is one I’ve already heard lots of things about but never got round to buying until now. What appeals to me most is the fact that it looks and smells like chocolate!

There were 2 colours to choose from and I picked up shade No. 52 which is a darker shading powder with a matte finish. Shade No.51 is the gold bronzing powder which acts more like a highlight. There is a sprinkling of shimmer in 52, but it’s much more subtle and does not overwhelm the face.

To apply I use an angled brush and buff along the hollows of my cheeks and dust across my temples and jaw line. It creates subtle definition and remains natural which is how I like it!

The Bourjois Bronzing Powder costs £6.99 and is available from High Street favourites Boots and Superdrug.

Have you tried the Bourjois Bronzing Powder? Would you consider bronzer a must have in your makeup bag?
