Herbal Essences Clearly Naked Dry Shampoo Review

I’ve never been a fan of dry shampoo but with winter looming my hair can often feel dehydrated due to cold weather and indoor heating. To try and minimize the dryness I’ve made a conscious effort to wash my hair every other day as opposed to daily which I was doing before.

On the days in between washes I’ve been using the Herbal Essences Clearly Naked Dry Shampoo which I picked up a few months ago. The Herbal Essences Clearly Naked Dry Shampoo is one of Herbal Essences latest launches and I only bought it on a whim because it was on an introductory offer at Superdrug. The Batiste dry shampoo was also on offer and I know everyone seems to love it, but I personally have never got on with it so I reached for the Herbal Essences one instead.

This dry shampoo contains 0% Parabens and 0% Colourants and the packaging completely reflects the ‘zero’ description. It’s very simple, clean and looks super sleek in the bathroom.

The scent available is Natural Tapioca and as I mentioned in my Current Favourites I think it smells a little like yoghurt but still gives a nice freshness to your hair. It absorbs any excess oil considerably well and doesn’t leave my hair with a white cast and powdery finish which I had with Batiste. I also find it gives me a bit of a volume boost especially at the roots so despite my hair being a day old, it doesn’t look lank and lifeless.

At £2.99 I think it’s a reasonable price for dry shampoo and I have plans to repurchase when I eventually run out! Herbal Essences also have the Ignite My Colour Dry Shampoo in a Rose fragrance and the Uplifting Volume one is Citrus scented. All of which can be purchased from either Boots or Superdrug. Both sound intriguing so I’ll definitely have to give them a try at some point!

Have you tried the Herbal Essences Clearly Naked Dry Shampoo?
