L’Oreal Paris Collection Privée Eva Lipstick Review

So this autumn and winter may be all about the deep reds and vibrant purples, but one look that we can embrace all year round is the nude lip. I’m a big fan of the Rimmel Nude Delight lipstick, but having come across the L’Oreal Paris Collection Privée Eva Lipstick in Barely Golden its shaping up to be my go to nude for this year!

The packaging of the Collection Privée lipsticks definitely stand out amongst the permanent range with its sleek, rubberised black casing and gold detailing.

There’s 6 nude shades representing 6 of L’Oreal Paris’ iconic spokespersons: Cheryl Cole, Doutzen Kroes, Freida Pinto, Julianne Moore, Eva Longoria and Liya Kebede.

Having swatched the remaining lipsticks and sought advice from the sales assistants, I picked up Eva’s nude lipstick (after visiting 3 different Boots Stores!)

Barely Golden is a warm, peachy nude with a hint of bronze which captures the essence of Eva Longoria’s sun kissed glow.

The lipstick is well pigmented and looks quite opaque on the lips. It also lasts considerably well and withstands normal amounts of eating and drinking.

The L’Oreal Paris Collection Privée Eva Lipstick and the others from the collection cost £8.19. Boots are having a ‘Buy One Get Second Half Price’ so I’d fully take advantage of that offer! 🙂

Have you tried any of the nude shades from the L’Oreal Paris Collection Privée?
