Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel Review
This review has been a long time coming and after giving it a thorough trial (just purchased my 2nd bottle) I thought it was about time to share with you my thoughts on the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel.
The Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel made its rounds on the blogosphere a little while ago but as always I was a bit hesitant to jump on the bandwagon straight away. Plus I was also in the middle of using my Philosophy Purity Cleanser so thought I would wait a while before purchasing. When I finally ran out of cleanser, it was the perfect opportunity to try something new and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made as I’m completely in love with it!
The cleanser is dispensed as a vibrant, pink gel and breaks down into a light oil which applies easily to the skin without any feeling of greasiness. I use the gel in my morning skin care routine and find one pump is plenty for my face.
I massage onto dry skin, before emulsifying with warm water and washing off completely. You can also use a muslin cloth to remove but in the mornings I like a quick fix so tend to skip this step altogether. After cleansing my skin feels incredibly soft and the the scent of Chamomile and Rose is really uplifting first thing in the morning.
Having used the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel I’m not sure if I can use anything else as I find it works so beautifully with my skin. I have a dry combination skin type and due to the consistency of the gel and it’s non foaming formula, my skin has been getting on really well with it and I’ve also found it has been gently balancing my skin’s pH levels as my T-Zone in particular has been less oily.
The cleansing gel isn’t the cheapest at £28 per bottle but if you’re only using it once a day you can make it go a very long way (my first bottle lasted 6 months+). You can purchase the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel directly from the Oskia website, Space NK and Cultbeauty.
