Just wanted to share with you another recent purchase of mine, the Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Lipstick in L’Exubérante. Even though this is a purchase I made on a whim, it certainly isn’t one I regret! In fact I think this is exactly what my make up collection needed. This is my FOTD from last night! Apologies for not being able to post it before I went out! I did a black/silver smoky eye because sometimes it’s nice just to go for a classic look, you can never go wrong with a classic. =) Plus I thought it would go well with my leopard print dress which I finally had the chance to wear!
So we’re almost into December and it’s going to be officially Christmas season! I’m really looking forward to Christmas and spending time with my family and generally having a merry ‘ol time =) Another thing I’ve got to look forward to are “Christmas Parties!” I thought I would be well prepared this year and experiment with some looks so I can nail it on the night, organised eh?

Hi everyone! Yesterday after work I headed into town with my friend and treated myself to a few things which I had been lusting after for a while now.. =) As much as I don’t like the days being so short and it getting dark so early, (when I leave work now it is actually dark dark!) I am very excited for late night shopping and Christmas time! I do adore the Christmas season and I love buying gifts for friends and family, and as funny as this sounds I enjoy wrapping up Christmas presents! Along with my recently purchased foundation I also decided to treat myself to some new eyeshadows, cue my second post – my Chanel Eyeshadow Quad review. Since it’s still only really the beginning of the month, my bank balance has been looking pretty healthy, hence the sudden splurge. As with the foundation, I’ve never actually purchased any eyeshadows by Chanel before – my go to brand for eyeshadows has always been MAC. However I hope you find my Chanel Eyeshadow Quad review helpful and it demonstrates just how equally amazing Chanel eyeshadows are.
So this Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua review is one of my very first posts! Let me start with a bit of background knowledge on me: I’m not one for wearing much make up, a bit of eye liner and blusher here and there and that’s me ready to go. However I do occasionally like to wear foundation. Like any other normal human being I do have those days when my complexion is not looking how I hope it would, so a bit of extra coverage with foundation, such as Chanel’s Vitalumiere Aqua to even things out is always nice.
