My Top 3 Favourite Blushers

I love wearing blusher and must admit that I always opt for it in favour of bronzer. I like to keep my makeup looking natural and I wouldn’t be able to do so without the help of my top 3 favourite blushers: Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel in Bronze Corail, MAC Sheertone Blush in Peaches and Topshop Blush in Flush.

Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel in Bronze Corail – This limited edition palette by Chanel which I picked up last summer, doubles up as a blusher and a bronzer. The 3 bronzer shades (light, medium and dark) included in the pan helps to neutralise the coral blush and gives a beautiful glow. There are subtle shimmers so when it catches the light it really helps to enhances the cheek bones. The moisturising formula doesn’t leave your cheeks looking powdery either! I always use the brush which comes included and pick up product with sweeping motions, starting from the coral side and finishing at the end of the bronzer shades. My favourite blusher by far and I use this sparingly because you can’t get hold of it anymore. 🙁

MAC Sheertone Blush in Peaches – The perfect “peachy” nude blush. Compared to the Bronze Corail, Peaches has a matte finish but doesn’t look cakey. No shimmers in this, but certainly gives you that effortlessly natural look. I find this is best applied with a powder brush, and use Sigma F40 – Large Angled Contour brush to allow for an even dusting on the cheeks.

Topshop Blush in Flush – As I mentioned in my review, it looks like a bold fluoro pink in the pan but when applied on the face it is a lovely shade of soft coral pink. It has a creamy texture but applies like a powder. Easy to blend with perfect buildable colour. It’s a cute little compact with mirror included so it’s ideal for when I’m on the go! I find the easiest way to apply this is with my fingers and dab on the apples of my cheeks.
