Olympia Beauty 2013 Shopping Haul

It seemed like just yesterday that I was indulging on cake and other naughty sweet treats at the Cake and Bake Show, but a few weekends since then was the turn of the Olympia Beauty Show 2013 held at Kensington Olympia, a haven for many a beauty fanatic. Naturally the beauty blogger in me couldn’t resist a few cheeky purchases and here’s what I bought…

I’ve always wanted to try NYX Cometics so as soon as I spotted their stand I was super excited to browse what was on offer! After much swatching and umming and ahhing I ended buying a Jumbo Pencil which is an eyeliner/eyeshadow in one and I chose the shade Yoghurt.

The next stand that I had my eye on was O.P.I. I’ve already got a few nail polishes but because of their excellent quality and richly pigmented shades I couldn’t resist buying a couple more and chose the shades: Feelin’ Hot Hot Hot and Yoga-Ta Get This Blue. That and they were a bargain at only £6 each!

Also I’ve been forever wanting to buy the Seche Vite Professional Top Coat but just never got round to it. They were an unexpected surprise for me at the show and having spotted them I knew it was time to make the purchase. I understand now why there’s so much hype around it because it really is that good!

And that was my small but sweet Olympia Beauty Show 2013 haul!

Overall I enjoyed my time at the show, but I did feel that it was more suited to individuals who are within the beauty industry as perhaps a makeup artist or beauticians. However it is a good opportunity to see brands that you may not have come across in the shops which is always a good thing.
