Murad Essential C Cleanser Review

I picked up September’s Marie Claire the other week (the one with Rachel Weisz on the cover) and it came with this Murad Essential C Cleanser! I’m always on the look out for a good cleanser so I was happy to give this a whirl and I must say the results are impressive!

The Murad Essential C Cleanser is gel based with these tiny orange micro beads which burst during use. It also has the most gorgeous citrus scent! (Ingredients including: mandarin orange, basil and grapefruit).

To use I dampen my face with some water and squeeze a 10p sized blob into my palm and gently massage into my face. Depending on how much water is used it does lather up and becomes quite foamy, but I quite like that in a cleanser and feel like I’ve cleaned my face properly.

What I love most about this cleanser is how refreshing my skin feels afterwards! It doesn’t leave my face tight or dry, but instead it’s hydrating and moisturising and my complexion looks considerably brighter. Another good thing about this cleanser is that it removes all dirt and even waterproof makeup!

The full sized 200ml tube costs £34 but on the Murad website you can also purchase a 45ml tube for £10 (as pictured). You can also purchase Murad products from Marks and Spencers online which I had no idea about!

Overall this is a top notch facial cleanser and since I’ve nearly come to the end of my sample, I’m going to go ahead and buy the full sized!

Have you tried any products by Murad? Did you pick up this Murad Essential C Cleanser in the latest Marie Claire too?

Love Sophia xo
