Birthday Wish List 2017
Hi everyone! First off I would just like to wish you all a very happy new year. I’m so sorry it’s a bit late. I honestly can’t believe we’re in 2017, I mean, where has the time gone? (No seriously, where did it go?!)
With every new year we also get another year older (unfortunately) and with my birthday approaching I thought it would be nice to put together my birthday wish list.
Now wish list is the operative phrase here. I am very grateful for the people around me as well as already having more than I can ask for BUT a girl can dream, right? So here are a few things that I’m currently lusting after…
Adidas Gazelle Lace-Up Suede Trainers
I’ve got a pair of Nike trainers which I love. They’re comfortable and perfect for days when I’m feeling quite low maintenance, but these Adidas Gazelles would be the perfect addition to any wardrobe. It has a slightly more classic design and the pastel blue colour is very neutral, so these can easily be dressed up or down with ease.
GUCCI Soho leather disco bag
I know this bag has really done the rounds on the blog/YouTube space recently but I really do have a soft spot for this Gucci Soho bag. Having looked at several videos and photos online, as well as viewing it in person, it really does seem like the perfect cross body bag. It’s roomy and can fit all the essentials so what more could you need? Red is actually quite a bold choice for me but seeing as I wear a lot of neutral colours (think black, white & grey), I think the pop of colour would complement my wardrobe nicely and is perfect for all seasons.
Acne Studios Black Matte Leather Pistol Boots
I have been after these boots for the longest time! I know the Jensen boots have also been very popular lately, I’m just not sure that they would really suit me not to mention be comfortable enough for me. This is where the Acne Pistol boots come in! They’re a good heel height, round toe and have a simple zip fastening, these boots suit me to a T.
Self-Portrait Wave Trim Mini Dress
As I get older I’m all about investing in pieces rather than spending money on less expensive alternatives and having to repurchase after a few wears. I’m slowly building up a collection (trying to be capsule but not quite on that level yet) of items which I will wear for years to come, and so far what I’m missing are some nice dresses. Self Portrait do the most amazing, delicate pieces and it’s no wonder they’re having their moment in the spotlight right now. I chose this black, white and gold ensemble because it can be worn on so many different occasions, weddings, dinners, parties, pretty much any event really! It has some very delicate detailing and I love the lace sleeves, it’s just so beautifully feminine – LOVE!
Diptyque Do Son Eau De Parfum
I first smelt this fragrance when we were in LA last September and it’s honestly stuck with me ever since. The fragrance includes notes of Tuberose, Orange Leaves, Pink Peppercorn, Musk. There is a warm, depth to this fragrance that is a mix of both feminine and masculine scents. I’m not sure if it is a unisex perfume but my boyfriend actually commented on liking this scent which almost never happens, so Diptyque must be doing something right!

This final choice for my wish list may seem a little extravagant for what it is, but I’ve heard the Baume De Rose really nourishes and conditions lips not to mention doubles up as a cuticle treatment too, so what more could you need really? Also I’ve never purchased anything from By Terry before so I feel like this would be a great entry level product to try from the range.
