As much as I love makeup and skincare, there’s also something I love equally as much; FOOD. So last weekend, the hungry chef in me popped along to the BBC Good Food Show 2013 at the Olympia.

Like most of the other shows I’ve been to this year, there were a lot of people! The show was across 2 floors. The ground floor housed a number of different stands with familiar brands such as Yakult, Sacla and Green & Black’s (who also held a wine session for the budding connoisseur) . There were also stages for demonstrations and an interview stage with some of our much loved chefs under the spotlight such Gregg Wallace and John Torode, Antonio Carluccio and Paul Hollywood!

On the top floor there was a large corner dedicated to stands of various different brands of wine and also a selections of sweets and savouries foods which was right up my street!

There was a also a large Supertheatre sponsored by Tesco and a number of demonstrations took place by chefs and pastry experts alike from Michel Roux Jr, James Martin and Mary Berry. Sadly seating was limited so I didn’t get a chance to watch the masters in action, but I’ll definitely try my luck next year!

So if you’re a bit of a foodie or an aspiring chef looking to pick up some tips and sample familiar and also new flavours then the BBC Good Food Show is for you! The next show will take place in 2014 on 14th-16th November and tickets are normally priced at £25.75-£26.75 (Adults), £23.75-£24.75 (65+), £13.75/FREE on Sun (Child 6-17), FREE (Child 0-5) .
