Fairydrops Platinum Mascara Review
Hi all!
Another post from me to make up for my lack of writing recently! =)
Well I bought this Fairydrops Platinum Mascara back when I was in HK, so it has been a good couple of months now since I brought this baby home, but it remained unopened until now! I tucked this one away as I was currently using my Majolica Majorca Mascara, but since it was coming to the end I thought it’s about time to bust out the new one. So here is my Fairydrops Platinum Mascara review!
The Fairydrops brand was created by Aya Yasuda who is a TV personality in Japan. I’ve been using this Fairydrops Platinum Mascara for about a week now and I must say I’m very impressed! The wand which comes with this mascara is fantastic as it really gets to every lash and applies an even coat. I love the shape of the wand too, it’s voluptuous and curvy and gives some nice body and length to my lashes. It can hold a curl quite well too which is always a plus!
Another great thing about the Fairydrops Platinum Mascara is that it is WATERPROOF even though this isn’t the actual waterproof formula! With watery eyes like mine I need a mascara formula that will last all day with no smudges, and I can totally count on Fairydrops to do the job right! It is also really easy to remove as well! There’s no need to rub your eyes raw, a gentle cleanser will do the trick. I use my Philosophy Purity Facial Cleanser and it does a fantastic job at removing all traces of mascara!
The packaging for the Fairydrops Platinum Mascara is really lovely as well! It’s a silver tube with cute little drawings scrawled all over with a pink print. The Japanese beauty industry never fail to impress =)
You can buy Fairydrops Mascara from several different online shops such as Yesstyle, Sasa and Sephora! There’s a huge range of different mascaras available, so be sure to check them out and find the one that suits you best!

Hi Karen, I can’t quite remember where I got it from but think it may have been from Sasa in Causeway Bay! I think you can also get it online at sasa.com 🙂 Hope you can find it!
