Maybelline Gel Eyeliner Review

I hope you’re all well and had a fab weekend 🙂 Today I just wanted to share with you my thoughts on Maybelline’s Gel Eyeliner! I recently picked this up because I had sadly run out of my favourite, MAC Fluidline in Backtrack..

When Maybelline’s Gel Eyeliner was first released I had read some great reviews about it! However since I was right in the middle of using my Fluidline, I decided to wait a while before purchasing it myself.

The eyeliner comes in nice, simple packaging which is in the form of a small frosted pot. It also has a travel sized eyeliner brush included as well, which makes this product well worth the £7.99 price tag.

From the first use I found the eyeliner to be really pigmented and applied really smoothly on my eye.

Maybelline’s Gel Eyeliner seems to last me throughout the day with very little smudging, even though I can sometimes have really watery eyes! I’m not really sure about it’s claims for lasting 24 hours though!

The only limitation that I’ve found so far is the lack of colour choices. At the moment, as far as I can see there is only one colour available and that is 01 Intense Black.

All in all I think  Maybelline’s Gel Eyeliner is a really good little eyeliner, and makes for a great alternative to MAC’s Fluidline. It has all the great qualities of Fluidline, but without the additional pounds added on top! I’ve also noticed that it’s a little easier to remove with my facial cleanser, which makes my routine a whole lot easier!

You can buy Maybelline’s Gel Eyeliner from all good Drug Stores such as Boots and Superdrug, not forgetting supermarkets too like Tesco and Asda! 🙂
