Loreal Super Liner Review

I hope you had a great few days off! I enjoyed a lovely weekend in London with my boyfriend, but I just can’t believe how quickly it went by though. It’s a good thing it’s Tuesday already and only 3 more days till the weekend again. 馃檪
So today’s post is the Loreal Super Liner Review. I picked this up a few weeks ago at Boots as part of the 3 for 2 offer.
I use gel eyeliner on a daily basis, my current favourite being the Maybelline Gel Eyeliner. On聽occasion though I do like to use liquid eyeliner (such as聽Lancome Artliner)聽聽just because it can be less fiddly and it’s great for touching up throughout the day.聽However since my Artliner is beginning to run out, I thought it would be a great opportunity to try something new, which is where the Loreal Super Liner聽comes in!
The colour I picked up is called “Black Crystals” which is black intertwined with some gold shimmers.聽The sparkles add that little extra something to the eyeliner, but it all remains subtle so I would consider it suitable for the day as well as night!
The packaging is like that of聽Lanc么me’s Artliner but is about 1 cm longer in length. It also has some gold stars printed on handle of the liner which I suppose lets you know that it is glittery? I honestly didn’t know that it had shimmers in it until I swatched it when I got home! It also has a felt tip applicator like the Artliner which makes for easy application.
For a drugstore liquid eyeliner, the聽Loreal Super Liner is considerably long wearing! I apply this at the beginning of the day, and there is only the tiniest bit of smudging! On most occasions I didn’t even have to touch up, which is a bonus!

I paid 拢6.49 for this eyeliner and I would say it’s well worth the price, I will definitely be repurchasing!聽It’s great to see that drugstore brands are producing more and more good quality聽alternatives to higher end brands such as Lanc么me, Chanel, Dior etc.

It looks good but do you know what my secret favourite eyeliner is? Collection 2000 felt tip liner. They last ages, really smooth, good staying power, highly pigmented and it’s only 拢2.99 (I think).
I do like that the gold shimmer is really subtle with this one though. Like it just draws a bit more light to your eye rather than making them glitter.

I like the Collection 2000 too, you should definitely give it a go. Sophia your eyeliner always look perfect, I’m do jealous! Do you have any tips, especially for flicks? Thanks 馃檪

So many recommendations for this Collection 2000 eyeliner, I’ll definitely be taking a trip to Superdrug or Boots 馃槈 Aw I’m glad you like my eyeliner! 馃檪 It is mostly just practice, practice and more practice lol. However, what I tend to do is outline the shape of the flick that I want and then fill in the rest with more eyeliner! Try a few times to get the shape you like and also to steady your hand, cos at first I found it a bit difficult to get that swift movement going! Hope this helps hun! xx
