This autumn/winter I’ve been giving some of my lipsticks a good work out. Whilst MAC Rebel remains firmly at the top as my ultimate favourite lipstick, the Rimmel Kate Moss 107 is definitely a close contender!
The Rimmel Kate Moss 107 lipstick is a rich, deep berry red and is very on trend for this A/W. Given the tone of this red, I find it a bit more wearable than other reds that I own such as L’Oreal Color Riche in True Red and Rimmel Apocalips in Big Bang, especially for work.
To apply I first line my lips with the GOSH 003 Cardinal Red lip liner and it matches the 107 lipstick perfectly.
The texture of the lipstick is very light. Even after applying you can easily forget that you’re wearing anything, so be careful not to smudge your lips!
In terms of durability the 107 lipstick performs quite well and after some eating or drinking the colour remains apparent. However I do have to reapply a few times just to avoid leaving my inner lip bare and the outer side still defined from the liner.
