Bourjois So Laque Tangerine Fatal Nail Polish Review

At the time of my mini Boots spree, I picked up the Bourjois So Laque Tangerine Fatal Nail Polish. After poring over the shelves for a while to decide which colour polish I wanted, I realised that I don’t actually have any coral shades so Tangerine Fatal proved to be the ideal choice!

Until now I’ve never owned a nail polish by Bourjois before so I was particularly excited to try it out!

My first impressions of the Bourjois nail polishes is that the packaging is actually really visual pleasing to the eye! I like the hourglass shape of the bottles which is very feminine and stands out amongst the other bottles.

The handle of the brush has some length to it making application a lot easier and the brush itself is fairly wide, so you can cover a lot more nail surface in less strokes.

Tangerine Fatal is a bright orange-red, coral shade and looks great with a tan! The colour is pigmented and as it’s from the ultra shine range,  it has a lovely glossy shine. However the only vice I did have is that even after 2 coats, it’s still a touch sheer.

You can’t see it very well in the photos but the tips of my nails are actually still visible underneath. Although it’s not very obvious but considering the £5.99 price tag I wouldn’t expect to have to apply more than 2 coats to achieve an opaque finish.

Nonetheless at some point I will give Bourjois nail polishes another try, perhaps opting for a darker shade to test the true opacity of the formula.

Have you tried Bourjois Nail Polishes? Do you have any shades to recommend?
