Filorga Foam Cleanser Review

As much as I like wearing makeup, nothing quite beats taking it all off at the end of the day with a good cleanser. I am a huge Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm fan, but cleansing with it daily means I’m going through jars like crazy. With each jar costing £34 a pop I needed to alternate it between another cleanser and try to savour the half jar I have left at the moment! So here we have the Filorga Foam cleanser which I received in my BBloggersxmas goodie bag!

I haven’t used a foam cleanser since the Murad Essential C cleanser back in August last year. Sometimes foam cleansers can dry out my skin quite quickly so I was a bit apprehensive at first, but the Filorga Foam cleanser did the exact opposite!

The bottle comes with easy to use pump action. I find for morning use, 1 pump is enough but if I’m using it at night to remove makeup I normally use 2 pumps. To use, all you need to do is massage the foam into wet skin, then rinse off with warm water. It actually removes waterproof makeup too which I wasn’t expecting! From past experiences trying to use  a foam cleanser to remove waterproof mascara resulted in stinging eyes, but this one doesn’t cause irritation at all. 🙂 The only negative thing I would say is that I’m not overly keen on the smell. It smells a tad medicinal to me if I’m honest, which I didn’t like at first but I seem to have got used to it now.

The Filorga Foam cleanser has hyaluronic acid in it which I think is a key ingredient for boosting skin complexion, giving a more hydrated, plump and youthful appearance. I certainly notice the benefits after each use! My skin can often be quite sensitive to new products, but this hasn’t broken me out nor caused my skin to have any adverse reactions which I’m really pleased about!

Despite it being a French brand, it’s actually readily available in the UK and can be found in M&S or online on Amazon. It’s £20 for 150ml which I consider reasonable, especially since it’s so effective! I’ve been using this bottle since January and I’ve only just about got to half way! I would definitely consider repurchasing this once I run out!

Have you tried the Filorga Foam cleanser before? Have you tried any products from the Filorga range?
