Aveeno Collodial Oatmeal Daily Moisturising Lotion Review
During the colder months my body care routine has been all about moisturise and hydration. As the weather starts to get warmer I can put aside the body butters and whip out something slightly lighter such as the Aveeno Collodial Oatmeal Daily Moisturising Lotion Review.
I initially tried the Collodial Oatmeal lotion as a sample from a magazine and it’s not often that after running out that I’ll go and buy the full size, but I did on this occasion because I like it that much!
First things first I love the packaging. Squeezy tubes make it easy to dispense, are hygienic, not to mention you can cut it in half when you’re nearly finished to ensure you don’t waste product!
The consistency of the lotion is slightly on the thick side when you first squeeze it out of the tube, however as you rub it into the skin, not only does it absorb easily but it instantly moisturises too and doesn’t leave the slightest bit of sticky residue. Also as you may or may not have heard me mention, I do suffer from eczema so every now and then I may be prone to a flare up but this lotion is fragrance and paraben free so doesn’t irritate it in any way.
Price wise I wouldn’t say it’s too expensive at £6.99 because despite having this tube for at least 6 months I’ve still got quite a lot left so it’s good value for money. It’s also on offer at Boots at the moment for £4.66 (odd number) but means if you’re in the market for a new body lotion then this might be for you! You can also pick up the range of Aveeno products from popular supermarkets such as Tesco or Asda.
