Salon Du Chocolat Show 2013 Part 2

As this post turned out to be a bit more photo heavy than anticipated, I decided to split it into two so this is the second part of my Salon Du Chocolat Show 2013 post! If you missed part 1 you can find it here.

What with Christmas coming up the Salon Du Chocolat Show 2013 also saw brands showcasing their festive and luxurious wares which would make a special gift for any loved one.

For those who are not only thinking about Christmas but planning your dream wedding day, there was also some exceptional chocolate wedding cakes designed by Lucy Bennett from Fleur de Sel.

Now the pièce de résistance had to be the chocolate catwalk show with it’s stunning couture outfits which were made and inspired by chocolate. Sadly we missed the actual catwalk itself but the pieces were on display for a chance to admire them more closely. The detail on these dresses are incredibly intricate and I can only imagine how much patience and concentration went into making them!

Last but not least we were also give a cheeky little bag of goodies for us to take home and indulge in, the perfect way to round off the day! 🙂
