Superdrug Press Event
Superdrug is the go to store if you’re looking for affordable, good quality products and in the next couple of months there’s going to be some exciting new things lined up so make sure you keep your eyes peeled!
From B (exclusive skincare and makeup brand to Superdrug) there’s going to be some great new releases. Firstly they’re launching the new B. Replenished Anti Oxidant Boost Facial Oil and B. Enriched Restorative Facial Oil for boosting skin hydration and combating signs of ageing. The Anti Oxidant Boost Facial Oil has high concentrations of antioxidants, Vitamin C and E, rosehip, argan and crambe seed oil. The Restorative Facial Oil is targeted at 50+, mature skin and contains added Shea Butter which is rich in essential fatty acids. Both are priced at an affordable £13.99 and £15.99 and will be launching in October.
Another product to watch out for in October is the B. Vibrant Lip & Cheek Colour, a great multi use chubby pencil which is great for every day or when you’re out on the go! They’re incredibly pigmented and creamy, great for adding a pop of colour to your lips or a blushing glow to your cheeks. It’s going to be well worth the £7.99 price tag.
B are also introducing their first B. Confident Colour Correction Cream in 2 shades – Light and Medium with SPF 45. There’s some familiar ingredients such as hyaluronic acid for intense 12 hour moisturisation, vitamin B for boosting elasticity and to give a more even skin tone. These are going to be yet another affordable price of £11.99 and will be launching in November.
Some of Superdrug’s own brand products have had a bit of a makeover such as their Tea Tree range. With its new fresh look it certainly appeals to everyone and even looks great in the bathroom!
There’s also going to be the launch of the Restoring Skin Care Oil spray which is a great all rounder product. Packed with 8 active oils including almond, canlola and soy bean oil, it’s hydrating, soothing and helps to restore elasticity and suppleness so you can have glowing skin in a couple of spritzes. At £13.99 this product is a steal compared to brands such as Bio-Oil.
A new launch which I’m particularly excited about next month is Cheeky (the naughty little sister of Cowshed). There’s going to be 21 colourful nail paints (approx £7 per bottle) and 14 scrummy scented products from body scrubs, lotion and shampoo and conditioner. I particularly love the packaging with it’s simple look and quirky names! These Cheeky products are going to be launched in 25 Superdrug stores from the end of October!
From familiar favourites MUA and 2True we’re going to be seeing a lot of sparkle! They’ve also pushed things up a notch with their new Pro ranges which continue to be affordable but the packaging and the formulation is more refined.
So these were the highlights for me this A/W from Superdrug. The next couple of months can’t come quick enough!
