Charles Worthington Shine Booster Shampoo and Conditioner Review
For as long as I can remember my favourite hair care duo has always been the Aussie Mega Shampoo and Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Take The Heat conditioner. However in recent months I’ve noticed it was time for a change because I just wasn’t getting the same refreshed feeling that I used to get after washing my hair, so I needed to hunt for a new duo! I picked up the Charles Worthington Shine Booster Shampoo and Conditioner a few weeks ago after spotting it in a 3 for 2 offer in Boots and have been in love ever since.
Even though I have dyed hair I still prefer to use shampoo and conditioner for normal hair. After I stopped using Aussie I did have a stint of using a shampoo and conditioner designed specifically for coloured hair but found it really didn’t work well for my hair (or scalp for that matter!) so have left them well alone since then.
I really like the packaging of the Charles Worthington shampoo and conditioner. The tubes make it so much easier to dispense and when it comes to the end it’ll be easier just to snip the tube in half so I won’t be wasting any of the product!
Charles Worthington Shine Booster Shampoo
I’ve been using this shampoo every day consistently for 3 weeks now and think it has been great for my hair! It smells lovely, slightly orangey and you don’t have to use a lot of it as it lathers up well, enough to cover all my hair. My hair feels lightweight , comfortably refreshed after use and I’ve also had a few compliments about my hair being shiny which is clearly a plus!
Charles Worthington Shine Booster Conditioner
As it is a duo I have been using the conditioner together with the shampoo and needless to say, it’s the perfect combination! The conditioner has the same scent as the shampoo which is not overpowering, doesn’t weigh my hair down and it’s been great for leaving hair tangle free (I noticed these positive effects in the morning when I wake up). Hair is just very manageable, not to mention so soft!
The overall verdict is that I love this Charles Worthington duo and highly recommend it. At £5.99 for each 250ml tube I think it’s affordable, especially since I’ve been using them both daily for nearly a month and I’m barely half way through each tube. There is an offer on at Boots and both the Shine Booster shampoo and Shine Booster conditioner are currently priced at £3.99 so if you’re looking to try them out, I’d grab them now! I might even stock up on a few bottles…
