Organic Surge Haul
A few weeks ago I was holidaying in Hong Kong and enjoying a temperature of 20 odd degrees, but as soon as I got back to the UK where the weather is the exact opposite, my skin took a big hit. Icy winds and the gripping cold dried my skin out instantly so I went into “rehydrate asap” mode and whipped out my Organic Surge haul; products recommended by the #bbloggers of Twitter!
From Organic Surge’s website, I purchased the Million Dollar Anywhere Balm and Million Dollar Brown Sugar Body Polish.
The Million Dollar Anywhere Balm was the main reason for my purchase, but since the Brown Sugar Body Polish was also in the sale (I had just run out of my Soap and Glory Flake Away Scrub) I thought I’d give it a go!
The Anywhere Balm is a rich waxy texture, but minus the greasy feeling! I have literally been massaging this into the dry patches on my face and it has been working wonders! It also has a fresh, citrus scent as well which makes it all the more lovely to use. As much as I love the Elemis SOS Emergency Cream, it can sometimes be a little sticky for the day time so the Anywhere Balm has proven to be a more suitable day alternative.
Having only been using the Soap and Glory Flake Away body scrub which is my go to scrub, the Brown Sugar Body Polish proves to be a sound choice! The consistency of the scrub is oilier than Flake Away, but I really feel the sugar crystals polishing my skin! Once I rinse off the excess product, my skin feels incredibly soft (if a little oily, but that’s nothing a bit of shower gel can’t sort out) and smells an absolute treat!
The Anywhere Balm was in the sale for £11.25 and the Brown Sugar Body Polish was £16. Both products are free from chemical nasties and preservatives, making them natural and safe for any skin type!
