L’oreal Color Riche True Red Lipstick Review
This autumn I have been gently nudging myself out of my comfort zone and trying out makeup in different shades despite the fact they’re not my usual go to colours. The L’oreal Color Riche True Red Lipstick is just one of a few “new” colours which I’ve been experimenting with.
As surprising as this may sound, up until now I have never owned a red lipstick. Nudes and pinks I have in abundance but red has always been a no go for me. The boldness of the colour would always scare me so even though I do pick it up with the intention of purchasing, it normally goes straight back to the shelf. However this time I was feeling brave, took the plunge and here we are!
L’oreal’s True Red is about as red as you’re going to get, so expect statement lips without fail.
The color riche formula is rich, pigmented, creamy and glides onto the lips perfectly. There’s a boosting serum (made of Collagen and Pro- Xylane) which is embedded in the centre of the bullet, giving moisture and hydration. It’s also really long lasting even after eating and drinking! Once the remnants of the lipstick have eventually worn off you’re still left with a neat stain which keeps your lips looking full of life!
L’oreal Color Riche lipsticks are priced at £8.69 which is priced than the likes of say Rimmel or Maybelline, but considering its quality and how long it lasts I do think it’s worth the money! For my first red lipstick I’m glad I went with L’oreal. 🙂

Lol, red is a colour that is just so out there and really stands out! It’s not quite as scary as I thought though so I do recommend trying a red lipstick out some time 🙂 Yes the packaging is lovely! It sits nicely in my makeup bag 😀 xx
Oh red! There’s something about this color that really captures me, same as purple, but whenever I put them on, it just doesn’t look right on me LOL. I bought Revlon’s almost matte red lipstick and basically, it’s just there looking all red and pretty and untouched hahha. Red definitely suits you though. 😉

Thank you! Speaking of purple I actually bought a new plum colour lipstick which I’m excited to review 😀 Maybe you could mix the red with a different lipstick to tone it down slightly? I’m sure red would look nice on you! 🙂 xx
