Maybelline Forever Strong Nail Polish Review
I haven’t painted my nails for a while so the weekend just gone, I took the time to pamper them a bit with a splash of colour! I’m currently sporting this pretty Maybelline Forever Strong Nail Polish which I picked up last week after another naughty trip to Boots.
I actually had no intention of buying nail polish but since this Maybelline Forever Strong Nail Polish had ended up on the wrong shelf , it ended up catching my eye and the rest is history!
This autumn I have been a big fan of purples and plums and my collection of eyeshadows, lipsticks and now nail polish is steadily growing. This Maybelline Forever Strong Nail Polish in Purple Reflect/Violet Profond is a gorgeous, glossy deep plum, blackcurrant shade infused with subtle shimmers.
I’ve never owned nail polish by Maybelline so didn’t know what to expect when it came to the formula but it applies so smoothly and takes 2 coats to get perfect opacity. Maybelline claim it can give 7 day wear (so far so good!) and is proving to be a fairly long wearing polish.
At £4.09 I consider this really affordable but the colour range seems slightly limited compared to my favourites, Essie and Models Own. You can buy Maybelline Forever Strong Nail Polish from Boots and Supedrug. Strangely though I haven’t been able to track this shade down online! I’ve only been able to find the shade “Extreme Blackcurrant” which is the closest I’ve found so far.

Normally I dont like dark color, but this one I don’t mind. It has a really pretty color. o.o

I didn’t used to like dark shades either, but lately they’ve been really growing on me 🙂 for healthy and strong nails try eating nuts, I think almonds are good! xx
This is a gorgeous colour! I’m confused by the online shades too, I spotted a deep burgundy colour in this range but wanted to see a swatch first. But when I looked online I couldn’t see anything dark enough :s strange! xx

Yeah the online shades are really confusing? :s I didn’t realise before but Maybelline nail polishes are really gorgeous, but just wish it was easier to find the shades lol! xx
