Following on from my rave review of the Benefit Watt’s Up Highlighter, it seemed more than appropriate to talk about it’s complementing counterpart, the Benefit Hoola Bronzer. I’ve always heard such great things about this bronzer but somehow never got round to trying it until the last few months of 2014 and I’ve been using it daily ever since.
Towards the end of last year and even now, highlighter has definitely become a significant part of my makeup routine. Perfectly placed highlighter just enhances all your key features and gives you a lovely glow. I’ve always been loyal to my Laura Mercier Baked Radiance Powder but there’s something something special about a cream highlighter such as the Benefit Watt’s Up Highlighter.
Once a week I like to pamper my face by using a deep cleansing mask to really get the dirt and grime out of my pores. I loved the GlamGlow Super Mud Mask but after running out I decided to try out a different brand instead and was recommended the Algenist Algae Brightening Face Mask.
Following on from my Makeup Favourites 2014 post, as promised I’m doing a Skin Care Favourites 2014 where you can see what skincare products I’ve been loving throughout the year 2014.
As it’s the beginning of a new year, it’s the perfect time to round up those beauty favourites of mine and see what products I’ve loved the most throughout 2014. This post will be in two parts, one for makeup and the other for skincare but first let’s start with my Makeup Favourites 2014!
