Liz Earle Cleanse And Polish Cleanser Review

British skin care guru Liz Earle has developed a huge line of products over the years, and up until recently includes the launch of a new cosmetics range. That being said there is one product in particular which always has tongues wagging, and that’s the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Cleanser.

Back in my teenage years (however long ago that may seem!) I had actually heard of the Cleanse and Polish cleanser what with my aunt being an avid fan of Liz Earle. Despite always contemplating the purchase, I never did get round to it until a few weeks ago when I was having a browse in John Lewis’s beauty hall.

As I’m progressing steadily into my 20s I’ve noticed that my skin is a lot more erratic than it used to be – outbreaks/redness being the biggest problem, so I was in need of something to really calm my skin down.

So I just happened to wander over to the Liz Earle counter (as you do!) and explained to the sales assistant all my woes, she recommended that I try the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Cleanser. By this point I wanted to try anything so thought I’d give it a go, and I now I’m in love!

The Cleanse and Polish is a “rich, concentrated cream” which you massage gently into dry skin and buff away with a hand hot, muslin cloth. Finish with a splash of cold water. It is meant to gently exfoliate the skin too which helps the skin to maintain a nice glow.

Instantly my skin felt smoother and softer, and in a few days the redness started to go down thanks to the rosemary and chamomile. I tend to use the Cleanse and Polish at night to give my skin a thorough cleansing as it removes all traces of makeup including waterproof mascara! Having used the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Cleanser consistently since I purchased it I have been really happy with the results. Overall my skin condition appears to have improved and is more moisturised which has certainly boosted my confidence again.

For £12.75 you get the 100ml cleanser plus 2 muslin cloths which I consider good value for money! I’ve used my fair share of cleansers from a range of prices, but this is certainly my new favourite!

Now I know there have been a number of mixed reviews when it comes to the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Cleanser so I’d really love to hear your thoughts! Have you tried any products from the Liz Earle range? Do you like the Cleanse and Polish Cleanser?
