The Body Shop Passion Fruit Cleansing Gel Review
Hi everyone!
I hope you’re all well and looking forward to the weekend. 🙂
Today’s post is on The Body Shop Passion Fruit Cleansing Gel which I purchased about a month or so ago!
Purchases from The Body Shop are a bit of a rarity for me. As much as I adore the fruity scents that envelop you when you walk into a store, I somehow never seem to come away with anything.. well until now that is!
I had initially intended on just purchasing The Body Shop Lip Balm in Sweet Lemon but when I got to the till, the sales assistant told me that this Passion Fruit Cleansing Gel was on offer (I think it was around ÂŁ3). Never one to pass on an opportunity to enjoy a little bargain I thought I’d give it a go!
The Body Shop Passion Fruit Cleansing Gel is a sweetly scented, fruit concoction which makes it such a pleasure to use. Whether it’s a passion fruit smell, I really can’t say but it’s nice whatever it is!
Another positive thing about this product is that the packaging is made from “100% post-consumer recycled plastic”. I’m all for recycling and do my bit as best as I can, so it’s great to see that companies are starting to use more recycled materials in a bid to save the planet!
To use this cleansing gel I massage a decent amount onto a dry face and rinse with lukewarm water. It’s a really mild cleanser which removes basic makeup, but it has next to no power in removing waterproof makeup e.g. mascara or eyeliner (prepare for stinging eyes if you do attempt it!)
After cleansing my face feels soft and quite soothed! It’s certainly relaxing to use this The Body Shop Passion Fruit Cleansing Gel as an evening cleanser on days when I want to give my face a break as it’s gentle on my skin. It’s suitable for all skin types too, so for someone like myself who can sometimes react to products, it’s safe to say “so far, so good!”
For the price I paid I’m really impressed with the results! I’ve purchased a number of cleansers over the years and have paid a variety of amounts for them. However sometimes less is definitely more and you really don’t have to spend a fortune to get some top notch products!
So have you tried The Body Shop Passion Fruit Cleansing Gel? What’s your favourite cleanser at the moment?
Love Sophia xo
