Soap And Glory Flake Away Body Scrub Review

Hello!

How is everyone? Cor am I glad it’s Wednesday already! I hope you’re all looking forward to the weekend as much as I am! 🙂

Anywho, I noticed that I haven’t posted much on skin/body care lately and thought it would be a good chance to share with you a product which I’ve been using regularly to buff my body with, and that is the Soap and Glory Flake Away Body Scrub!

I  discovered this scrub a while ago when Boots were having one of those fantastic 3 for 2 across products offer (yeah that offer that makes you end up spending a fortune!). Soap and Glory’s Bath and Body range has always intrigued me and I’ve heard so many good things, but I just never got round to picking anything up. I’d decided that when I eventually did buy something, I wanted it to be a product that I knew that I’d get some good use out of, what better than a body scrub?

The Soap And Glory Flake Away body scrub comes in a large-ish pink tub, with a light hearted pun stamped across it and Soap and Glory’s trademark logo.

My first impressions of this scrub was that it looked like oaty coloured mush, but the smell more than makes up for it! The ingredients include: “shea butter, sweet almond oil, peach seed powder, sea salt and sugar” – a perfect combination if you ask me.

The texture of the Flake Away body scrub is grainy and sandy which is what you’d expect from a body scrub, but it doesn’t feel rough on the skin which is important as you don’t want to do more harm than good!

I use this once a week to give my body a good polish and it leaves my skin feeling supple and is really nourished after I lather on the moisturiser! It’s not really necessary to use huge amounts as I find it spreads really easily, so small handfuls can take you a long way! There’s also no unpleasant greasy film left on your skin which can happen sometimes with scrubs.

For £6.64 you can get a 300ml tub which is a bargain and you do get a hefty amount product which usually lasts me a good few months if following my weekly routine!

So have you tried this Soap And Glory Flake Away body scrub? What are your favourite Soap and Glory products?

Love Sophia xo

I use Flake Away as a manicure/hand scrub rather than an all over. Breakfast Scrub and Sugar Crush are my favourites from S&G; they are the best smelling and most abrasive scrubs they do.

I just got this scrub, and I have to say it’s pretty amazing. Most of their products are though, I think I’ve loved each and every one of them that I’ve tried 🙂

I know, I really love Soap and Glory products too! What is another favourite product that you like? Have you seen the mini hat box set? It’s like £10 and there’s little miniature products tucked inside, would make a great Christmas gift! 🙂
