MAC Smolder Eye Kohl Eyeliner Review
With it being the summer I seem to have neglected my eyeliner. It’s been particularly warm over the last few weeks so to keep my eyes looking fresh I’ve opted for using a black eyeshadow to line my eyes . I’ve also been wearing mascara much more often than normal! Anyway, with the launch of the Autumn/Winter collections across stores I thought I’d better start practising my eyeliner technique again.
I received MAC’s Eye Kohl pencil in Smolder after I attended a MAC Masterclass with Make-up London Academy a few months ago! This was one of a few little freebies that were given to us at the end of the class.I’ve used Smolder before, but a really long time ago so it was nice to have it pop up again!
It is a soft, pigmented pencil liner which glides on effortlessly. It’s really blendable as well so it’s great for creating that classic smokey eye look!
I was trying to think why I stopped using this and then I remembered the price – £14. This is considerably pricey compared to other pencil eyeliners I own. You do get a lot of product and depending how often you use it, it could last you a good couple of months however I’d say this was a splurge and you could definitely find a cheaper alternative.
