Macadamia Oil Review

Hair like skin needs a good pampering! For me, I like to run some Moroccanoil through my locks a few times a week. Having recently run out of my sample sized bottle though and not yet having a chance to repurchase, I remembered I still had a little bottle of Macadamia Oil tucked away!

The packaging is really appealing with its browns and greens and definitely fits the bill of “natural oil.” Macadamia oil actually contains both Macadamia and Argan oils making it doubly effective for taming frizz, keeping hair nourished and silky smooth!

The Macadamia Oil has lovely hints of vanilla and smells slightly more natural compared to that of the Moroccanoil which had a minty scent. The oil itself initially looks quite thick and almost quite syrupy but it doesn’t leave my hair or hands the least bit sticky My hair absorbs the oil really easily without leaving it greasy or heavy and looks noticeably glossier!

(This sample pack also came with a Deep Repair Masque which I’ll review at a later date!)

The price of the Macadamia oil is £25.45 for 125ml making it considerably more affordable than the Moroccanoil and it performs equally as well! Looks like a full sized bottle of the Macadamia oil will be going on my wish list!

Have you tried Macadamia Oil or Moroccanoil before? Which do you prefer?
