OPI Malaga Wine Nail Polish Review
I have been a huge fan of red shades this winter; so when the OPI Malaga Wine nail polish caught my eye I just couldn’t resist and this ended up in my Christmas Sale Shopping Beauty Haul along with a few other bits!
I haven’t always been a fan of red as I found it much too bold. However after buying Chanel Malice nail polish I’ve been completely besotted with the shade and now I can’t resist a touch of rouge in my makeup collection!
Malaga Wine is a deep vampy/crimson red with a glossy finish. This is the second OPI shade that I own and I’m so impressed with the quality of the lacquer; after just 1 coat my nails are already nicely opaque! Each bottle comes with a really sturdy brush too which gives quick and precise application. I do often favour glittery/shimmery shades, but with Malaga Wine I find it’s just as pretty without and looks very sophisticated; perfect to match any outfit! This month is also the perfect opportunity to wear Malaga Wine because it’s Chinese New Year; wearing the colour red is a sign of prosperity, fortune and luck!
OPI nail polishes are normally around £11 which is about the same for Nails Inc and Ciate nail polishes, but I got Malaga Wine for £9.90!
