100 Day Spending Ban Week 8 to Week 13

100 Day Spending Ban Week 8 to Week 13

It’s been a good while since I posted an update on my 100 Day Spending Ban so I’ve put the last few weeks together in one post and here’s what’s been happening from Week 8 to Week 13…

100 Day Spending Ban Week 8 to Week 13 Update

Well first things first it’s officially 4 days until the ban is OVER.

I’ve been considerably good with my spending up until a few weekends ago when I had to pop into Boots to replace some essentials. This was completely unavoidable as I literally had no shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste etc left. However I must be honest, even though my sole intention for going into Boots was to buy essentials I ended up buying a few makeup bits as well… Although given the length of time I’ve actually gone since buying the Essie nail polishes from the Professional Beauty Show until now I feel like I’ve done very well!

These are the products I ended up buying which weren’t essentials (oops):

– Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine Lip Gloss in Glorious Grapefruit – £0 (this was the cheapest item of the 3 for 2 offer)
– Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer in Medium – £7.99
– Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint and Pencil in Brownie Points – £10
– Charles Worthington Texturising Spray x 2 – £8

Total expenditure: £25.99

I really wasn’t planning to buy any of it but with the 3 For 2 offer and 2 for £8 going on it was so hard to say no.

At least there’s only 4 more days left and I’ll be able to spend without any restraint. Although I do think after having this self-imposed ban I will be able to control my future expenditure, but we’ll see!

So next week will be my final update. Stay tuned to see if I end up spending anymore money (fingers crossed I don’t!)

Is anyone else coming to the end of their Spending Ban? How’ve you been getting on?

Love Sophia xo
