Astral Light and Creamy Moisturiser Review
When autumn weather is here I know this means my skin is going to be in need of some extra TLC. For me I want a moisturiser that is hydrating, easily absorbable and the Astral Light and Creamy Moisturiser with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E has been great for doing just that!
Astral is a brand which goes way back and the original formula was initially aimed for more mature skin. However the light and creamy version now packs the same intense moisturising properties but is much airier in texture which I think is a bit more appealing.
The packaging has been revamped to a lighter blue tub which is a refreshing look and the smell is so soft and soothing.
The tiniest bit of the Astral Light and Creamy moisturiser* goes a long way and my skin stays supple without being greasy or oily. The biggest improvement I’ve noticed is with my hands! They can often take a battering in the colder weather, but recently they look smoother and much softer, especially if I use it before bed and give it a chance to really work! I’ve used it on small patches of my face as well to give my complexion a hydrating boost.
You can buy the 200ml tub for around £4.28 from Sainsbury’s, Superdrug and various other pharmacies. I think it’s great value for money especially since Astral follow through with what they claim!
Have you tried the original Astral moisturiser? If you haven’t, would you consider using it now that Astral offers a lighter version?

This product looks great. I’ve never tried Astral before but now that Winter is rolling up I might just have to 🙂

My first husband used Astral but it worked for him, I’m not to sure though! What does it smell like?

I think it smells a bit fruity and not overpowering at all. 🙂 The scent also reminds me of another product I’ve used before but I can’t remember what it is!
