Biotherm Aquasource Gel Review

Hi readers! How is your week coming along? Hope you’re having a less stressful one than mine! Don’t know what it is about this week, but work has been SO manic! Just glad that it’s finally Wednesday tomorrow and we’re that much closer to the weekend =)

So anyway, moving on! Just thought I’d write a quick review about the Biotherm Aquasource Gel which I’ve been using these past few weeks. So check it out, my Biotherm Aquasource Gel review!

Biotherm Aquasource Gel Review 1

Since the autumn/winter weather has officially set in my skin has had to adjust to the changes and so I’ve been getting dry patches on my face, especially on my cheeks *sob*.

Luckily a few weeks ago when I was wandering through House of Fraser, the Biotherm sales assistant was handing out some samples and I was given 2 x sachets of the Biotherm Aquasource Gel to try. Having taken these samples home with me I proceeded to try them out by incorporating this into my skin routine! All in all I made both sachets of the Biotherm Aquasource Gel last just over a week and I found  it to be really quite special. ♥

The Biotherm Aquasource Gel is incredibly hydrating and moisturising and although it didn’t have an instant effect, by the 2nd and 3rd day I stated to notice the great qualities of this gel. I normally use a little more than a 5p sized amount and this is enough to cover my entire face and neck, a little really goes a long way! The smell is a little strange at first though ha. Upon first using this, it smells sort of like cucumber but then again not quite. I quickly got over this though since I used it daily, as part of my day and night skin care routine.

I just love how my skin feels after I’ve applied the Biotherm Aquasource Gel. It’s just super comfortable and not greasy so you don’t have to worry about any excess shine! The Biotherm Aquasource Gel is suitable for normal/combination skin. I think this might be why I’ve found it has been working well with my skin, because my skin type is typically combination. The Biotherm Aquasource Gel gives my skin a fantastic boost and I’ve noticed my skin somewhat has a “glow” because it’s being so well nourished.

The Biotherm Aquasource Gel is priced at £28, which is steeper than most skin care products currently on the market. However for me, I feel like this has been a good investment. Plus when I got this from Boots, they just so happened to have a set which they are marketing for Christmas so you can purchase the Biotherm Aquasource Gel, Biosource Hydra-Mineral Lotion Toning Water and Biosource Hydra-Mineral Cleanser Toning Mousse all for £28! It comes with a chic limited edition Vanessa Bruno drawstring pouch too ! The sales assistant also gave me a few freebies which I have yet to try and I also got to earn some points on my Boots card too. =) Overall I am a one very satisfied customer!

Well thanks for reading my Biotherm Aquasource Gel review! So much for it being a “quick review” haha. So does anyone currently use any Biotherm products? If so, what do you use? Leave me comments and let me know!

Love Sophia xo
