Origins Super Spot Remover Review

Spots are definitely my number 1 dislike. They come about at the worst times, like when you have a special occasion to go to and want to look your best! I used to wince when I looked in the mirror and the reflection staring back at me was blemished in the most non-discreet way possible.. well that is until I found Origins Super Spot Remover!

I picked up Origins Super Spot Remover in Debenhams during a recent promotion whereby if you spend more than £40 you receive 500 bonus points for your Beauty Club card!  I hadn’t intended to buy it but seeing as I wanted to make up the £40 and get the points, I thought “why not?” and it turns out to be a little saviour in a bottle!

Origins Super Spot Remover Review 2

Origins Super Spot Remover is a ‘Blemish Treatment Gel’ and to use I apply to areas where there is a spot or I can feel one coming. There is slight cooling sensation, and it does not irritate the skin or cause the problem area to become inflamed. I normally apply at night time to give the gel a good chance to work it’s magic, although I have used it in my morning routine as well.

The results were immediate which really surprised me as it was so unexpected. By morning any blemishes or potential blemishes were visibly reduced, almost as if they had never existed! After a few more applications (just to be sure) I was happy that they were “removed” and could go about my day feeling confident about my spotless skin!

The Origins Super Spot Remover costs £12 for 10ml which is expensive, but as I have said before I don’t mind spending a bit of money on products which work for me. You can purchase it directly from the Origins website, but department stores such as Selfridges, Debenhams and House of Fraser also carry the brand.

Have you tried Origins Super Spot Remover? What are your thoughts on Origins as a brand on the whole? Do you have any other products to recommend?

This product sounds great, seen quite a few people rating it recently! I normally use a Dermalogica spot gel which really works but it is really expensive! If I can’t afford to re-purchase it when it runs out I think I’ll give this a try x
