What Is In My Makeup Bag

I always love reading ‘What’s In My Makeup Bag’ posts as I find it really interesting to see what products people are using. It’s also great for discovering a great range of products and lust after new ones! Today I’m going to let you take a peek inside my makeup bag and show you the products which I’ve been carrying around with me.

My makeup bag is from Muji which I picked up in their sale a few months ago. It’s the perfect size for me because I can tuck away all my essentials without cluttering up my bag. I like to generally wear minimal makeup during the week and tend to skip foundation and blush altogether. I’m trying to look for a good tinted moisturiser though to add a bit of coverage to my face if anyone has any recommendations?

Collection 2000 Extreme Felt Tip Liner – I’m never without eyeliner and I think I look quite tired when I’m not wearing it! I was recommended to try this by a number of bloggers and I’m so glad I did. This was such a bargain too at only £2.99 and it’s really long wearing – review to follow!

Collection 2000 Long Perfection Concealer – I still haven’t found a concealer which comes close to this one. Covers up my dark circles and blemishes really well which is a must for me, especially if I’ve had a late night!

Compact Mirror – I received this as a present from my boyfriend when he went to Croatia. It has a regular mirror on one side and the other side is magnifying. I love it because the cover is so pretty!

Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Mascara – I raved about this mascara some time ago and I’m still very much in love! Gives length and holds a curl, what more could a girl want?

L’oreal Rouge Caresse Lipstick in Lovely RoseMy current favourite lipstick! It’s a gorgeous baby pink, great for adding a pop of colour to my lips. I’ll definitely be writing a review on this and will be probably compare it to the Revlon Lip Butters as they are fairly similar.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24 Hour eyeshadow in On and On Bronze – I’ve been wearing this eyeshadow so much lately. It’s easy to apply and doesn’t crease, my makeup bag essential at the moment!

Origins Super Spot Remover – This is a miracle product! A few dabs of this gel and spots diminish so quickly. It’s also perfect for applying to areas on your face where you can feel a spot coming, a great prevention product!

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers – My trusty Shu Uemura curlers! A good fit for my eyes and doesn’t pinch. It’s definitely on the higher end side but well worth the money!

I love reading these types of posts too! In terms of tinted moisturisers I really like the Laura Mercier oil free one. It gives great coverage. For even less coverage, the Smashbox sheer focus one is nice but it comes in a very limited selection of shades. 🙂

Oh brilliant, thanks for the recommendations! 🙂 I’ve been eyeing up the Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser but haven’t taken the plunge yet as it’s quite expensive. I’ll have to look into the Smashbox one too though! Do you know how many shades there are? x

Seems like our tastes are quite similar? 🙂 Do you have any other products to recommend? I can’t praise the Collection 2000 concealer and Origins Spot Remover enough, makeup bag must haves! x
