Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser Review
I get through moisturiser in a rather rapid rate, mainly because my skin can get a bit dry especially on my cheeks and chin! Now with the weather having perked up I thought it about time to bring out the lighter moisturisers (that and my Norwegian Formula Moisture Balm had run out!) so I went for the Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser.
I’ve been using Simple since my teens, and became familiar with their products. Over the years though I went off and tried other brands, but thought the light moisturiser would be a good product for reintroducing myself to the brand’s skin care range.
In keeping with Simple’s branding, the packaging for their products is equally as simple but sometimes less is definitely more! The green and white bottle is definitely fresh and appealing.
The Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser is certainly very light in consistency, almost a bit watery and blends in reasonably well into the skin. However in terms of hydration, I’ve come to realise that this moisturiser is actually too light for me. If your skin is particularly oily however, this may be a more suitable product for you.
While it boasts 12 hour moisturisation, I find after about an hour or so my skin has become dry especially around my problem areas meaning I need to reapply.
This is a real shame because I do like Simple and am loyal to their face wipes but think that’ll be as far as it goes for now.
The Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser costs around £3.79 and can be bought from Boots or Superdrug.
Do you use Simple products? Have you tried the Hydrating Light Moisturiser before?
