Precious About Makeup Studio Launch Event
On the 5th July I was kindly invited to the launch of the new make up studios at Precious About Makeup (PAM) – A cosy makeup shop in Goldhawk Mews, London who specialise in “Film, TV, Stage and Professional Beauty Makeup”. PAM stock top brands which we all know and love such as Make Up For Ever, Illamasqua and Ben Nye to name a few.
This was my first visit to the PAM makeup shop and I went by myself too so I was doubly nervous! All the lovely team made me feel incredibly welcome though and I soon felt at ease.
I got to the launch quite late as I had to come from work, so sadly missed out on the night’s highlights including some fantastic body painting, incredible prosthetic applications and makeup demonstrations by Make Up For Ever’s, David Arbid. Towards the end of the evening though, I did manage to pick up a few makeup tips from David like how to apply eyeliner. He also advised me of what eyeshadows and lip shades suit my skin tone best which I found really helpful!
I love how the Precious About Makeup shop is reminiscent of a house with the homely and comfortable feel to match. Brands like Make Up For Ever and Ben Nye are generally quite hard to come by in the UK too, so I’m thrilled they’re not out of reach after all!
With the launch of the bright new studios, PAM are offering a wide range of fantastic courses and tutorials which is great news for beginner and or more experienced individuals learning about the beauty industry! Overall it was a great night and I also received a generous bag of goodies too which I can’t wait to try!
