Burberry Tangerine Blush Review
At the weekend I made a really cheeky purchase and came away with a new blusher from Burberry. This is the first makeup product which I’ve purchased from Burberry so I couldn’t help but be a bit over excited! 🙂
Burberry makeup is without a doubt a high end cosmetics brand. The packaging really is something else and for me rivals even the likes of Chanel and YSL! Each product comes in the classic Burberry check pattern printed on a mirrored surface and the open/close mechanism is magnetic so everything looks seamless and sophisticated. The blush also comes in a slinky velvet sleeve which an added touch.
I purchased the Burberry blush in shade 06 Tangerine which is a beautiful peachy toned matte blush with the same Burberry check pressed on top. It also comes complete with a blush brush with very soft bristles – the ultimate blush compact!
Tangerine gives an extremely gentle glow on the cheeks which gives a natural and fresh face. It’s quite moisturising as well so overall gives a very healthy appearance when applied.
The price of this blush is ÂŁ29 which is a bit pricey, but you do get what you pay for from the packaging to the quality of the product, and the whole compact simply oozes luxury! Definitely a treat for me rather than a regular occurrence, but without a doubt a new favourite of mine to date. The only thing I would say is that I can see myself getting a bit annoyed with fingerprints all over the shiny mirror surface, so its lucky there’s a pocket to protect it!
