Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Nude Beige Lipstick Review
I bought this Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Nude Beige lipstick a while ago and after having a little clear out during the week I stumbled upon it again, so thought it would be a good chance to review it!
Now when I first saw these Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte lipsticks I fell in love straight away and knew I had to have one. The packaging is what makes it particularly special; the gold casing and the YSL detailing around the centre of the tube. A pretty sight for any makeup bag!
I chose the shade #1 Nudge Beige which is a gorgeous, pinky hued nude, adding a subtle colour to the lips.
The formula is smooth and creamy with a subtle gloss which just glides on the lips when applying. The scent is yummy too and reminds me of a fruity mango!
However sadly despite it being a very pretty lipstick, the thing I was disappointed about was the durability. After a while it seemed to sink into the lines of my lips and would slide off really quickly, especially if I was eating or drinking. I had to touch up quite often and given the price is £23.50 I was expecting much more long lasting power.
