Schwarzkopf Color Hair Mask Review
I picked up the Schwarzkopf Color Hair Mask a few months ago as part of a 3 for 2 offer at Boots. I had dyed my hair at around the same time so wanted a treatment which would really lock in the colour and give it an extra moisture boost that I find hair needs after using dye. This mask is one which hits the brief entirely and here’s why!
To be honest I haven’t used a hair mask other than the Essential Rich Premier Ultra Honey Hair Mask so that has been the only product I reach for. Problem is that with it being only available online or in Asia, I use it quite sparingly so wanted a mask which is readily available here in the UK so I can repurchase it easily.
The Schwarzkopf Color Hair Mask along with the rest of the Essence Ultîme range was developed with top model Claudia Schiffer. She has combined her own wealth of beauty knowledge and her experience in the beauty and fashion industry to create a selection of products so you can achieve beautiful hair at home!
The mask ‘Seals-in hair colour for anti-fading effect, deeply nourishes & smoothes hair. Up to 98% less hair breakage & less split ends.’
To apply you massage the mask into wet hair, leave for 1 minute and then rinse thoroughly. I know some hair masks can sometimes recommend you leaving them in for 3-5 minutes, maybe even longer. However this Schwarzkopf Color Hair Mask is perfect for time conscious people like me who as much as I would like to spend an extra few minutes in the shower with a hair mask, generally can’t afford to!
Every time I use the mask my hair is left feeling silky and soft, not forgetting the fact that it also smells amazing! I definitely notice that my locks feel much more nourished, especially at the ends where I tend to experience dryness (normally after using styling tools). I do think Schwarzkopf are true to their word when it comes to sealing in hair colour and anti-fading because despite having dyed my hair a few months ago now, the colour still looks quite vibrant and there is a healthy shine to it.
I purchased the Schwarzkopf Color Hair Mask from Boots here at £5.49 for a 200ml tub which I think is a bargain compared to some others on the shelves. It recommends regular usage, but I think once a week/once every two weeks is plenty to keep your hair looking great!
What’s your favourite hair treatment?
