Wen Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner Review

My hair has been looking a little on the under nourished side lately with my ends being particularly straw like! I’ve been thinking about having a hair cut but before I did I needed a quick fix solution to revive my hair, and that came in the form of the Wen Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner. 

Wen by Chaz Dean, is a brand which I’ve seen crop up on many blogs and across the internet. With their lack of presence in high street shops I’d tend to forget to look into their prodcuts further, so you can imagine how pleased I was to see it feature in my Jolie Box! Even though I never end up using many hair care products, I love the smell of both mint and almond so I knew this product was a must try!

To use I squeeze a good amount into the palm of my hands and run it through the ends of my hair, leaving it in like a mask for a few minutes to let my tresses really soak up the conditioner! It says you can massage into your scalp, but I’ve given this a miss. To finish I rinse through thoroughly and dry hair as normal.

The results are immediate. When I ran my fingers through the ends whilst drying it was tangle free, glossy and looked really hydrated! I use conditioner really excessively as I love the way my hair feels afterwards, even more so now that I’ve started using the Wen Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner!

I think the only negative thing about this conditioner is the price. At £24.95 for the full sized 480ml bottle, I find it much too expensive. Given how much I like to use conditioner, I’ll be sure to go through this in a matter of weeks, and as much as I love my hair it’s a luxury I will have to put aside for now. It’s on my wish list thought that’s for sure!
