New Year’s Resolutions 2015

Happy New Year everyone! Did we just say goodbye to yet another year? Honestly where does the time go. I didn’t do a resolutions post for 2014, but looking back at 2013’s resolutions I feel like I tried to achieve all of the goals I had set. However in 2015 I have new(ish) resolutions, so here goes…

1) Do more exercise
Ok so this resolution is one from 2013 but I felt like I should make it a resolution again this year because in 2014 I did actually start an exercise routine. I joined a gym and started to go fairly regularly but my routine took a dip in the summer and as soon as it was winter it just stopped altogether. In the new year I’m determined to get back into the swing of things and get my fitness levels up again. I particularly want to achieve my goal of running 10k and take part in an actual race. We’ll see how that goes and I’ll report back!

2) Eat more healthily
To go hand in hand with my exercise I want to start eating more healthily again. Admittedly I got a bit complacent with my cooking and ended up not eating too well, not to mention having takeaways and junk food which has resulted in me being ill for the remainder of 2014. So this year I’m going to make more effort with my cooking and set myself meal plans so I can ensure I’m getting plenty of variety not to mention nutrients. I will also eat more fruit and drink plenty of water so that all bases are covered.

3) Spend my money better
I seem to always end up spending my money by the end of the month and I’m sure it’s because I’m wasting it on useless stuff (or just too many lipsticks). So this year I just want to buy things that I need and invest in products such as clothing, bags rather than keep buying things that I can only use for a while before it falls apart. Ideally I’d like a collection of classic, timeless pieces in my wardrobe which I can wear all year round.

Well there you have my New Year’s Resolutions 2015. Although it’s good to be ambitious, I only set myself 3 resolutions because knowing myself I feel 3 is attainable rather than lots of little ones which I know I probably won’t end up keeping on top of. Here’s hoping I stick to them!

I hope everyone had a wonderful time celebrating last night and here’s wishing you all a very happy, healthy and prosperous 2015. Let’s make it a great one! 🙂

So what are your resolutions for this year?

Love Sophia xo
