Figs and Rouge Lip Balm Review
Lip balm is one of those essentials that every makeup bag needs. Lip balms can be glossy, others are tinted but the key is to keep lips hydrated and moisturised. I got this Figs and Rouge lip balm in April’s GlossyBox – The Nautral Box and have had it in my bag ever since!
I am one of those people who must have lip balm in my bag. Dry chapped lips is an absolute no no for me so I was happy to have received this in my GlossyBox.
Figs and Rouge is a brand which produces 100% organic lip care, using only natural products and are petroleum free! It was also revealed to be a favourite of actress Emma Watson!
The lip balm comes in a tin which I don’t particularly favour a having to dip my finger into a product. Nonetheless the tin is a good size for my bag, and it has some pretty illustrations decorated on the lid with some fun stripes going all around the tin.
The flavour I received was ‘Peppermint and Tea Tree’ which I’ve been enjoying a lot as I love the smell of peppermint! The tea tree scent is not very noiceable at first sniff, but after a while it does start to come through but doesn’t linger on your lips.
The Figs and Rouge lip balm feels really silky Β upon application and leaves your lips with a delicate light sheen. My lips feel nourished throughout the day with no real need for re-application, but I do reapply every now and then just for the smell!
It does say on the tin that it is aΒ ‘lip, face and body balm’Β so I’ve tried to use it on some dry patches on my face at night. I’ve found it helps to sooth and hydrate the area and after a few days the dryness is noticeably improved! Thumbs up for multi use products. π Overall this Figs and Rouge lip balm is really likeable for me and I would be happy to repurchase.
It retails at around Β£3 a tin which I consider a standard price for lip balm. You can find Figs and Rouge lip balms from Boots, ASOS and Urban Outfitters and some select other pharmacies.
Have you tried any Figs and Rouge products? What do you think about them?

Glossybox was hopeless here in Australia. It folded and went bust. I would have loved for them to have had boxes like they have in the UK. So unfair! …If you are interested am running a global beauty blog swap at the moment on my blog. Would love for you to check it out and sign up!
