Top Lipsticks For Autumn
Autumn is finally here! One of my favourite things about the season is changing up my lip colours and wearing bold, dark lips again without looking overdone. So here’s a round up of my Top Lipsticks For Autumn!
Living Nature ‘Summer Rain’
I actually reviewed this a while ago but it had fallen to the back of my collection and was sadly forgotten about. However after having a good ol’ rummage recently I found it to be the perfect rosy, almost berry like pink shade to wear this autumn. As with every season, you should always have a good fail-safe pink lipstick to hand because it’s just so easy and quick to apply.
MAC ‘Russian Red’
This is a new lipstick to my collection but it had been sitting on my wishlist for the longest time! It’s just like Ruby Woo and despite also being a matte formula lipstick, it’s not as drying and applies much smoother on the lips. No collection is ever complete without a true red lipstick (or sometimes several) and it can really polish off a makeup look or outfit! A full review to come soon..
MAC ‘Rebel’
This is actually a favourite from last year and no surprises it makes it into my top lipsticks for autumn again this year! It’s a gorgeous plummy purple and is so pigmented as well as incredibly long lasting. This is definitely one to repurchase when I eventually run out (hopefully not soon!)
Rimmel Kate Moss ‘107’
This vampy red is just perfect for autumn and is another favourite from last year. It complements pretty much every outfit and although dark it’s surprisingly wearable even during the daytime. The only thing I would suggest is not to forgo the lip liner as it can be quite easy to smudge and transfer from the lips.
Tom Ford ‘Bruised Plum’
Next up is another dark, plum shade. Can you tell it’s my favourite? I received this as a very generous gift from some ex work colleagues who clearly know me too well! It’s very luxurious so I wear it quite sparingly, but it’s just absolutely stunning. I have yet to review this fully, but rest assured it’s on the blogging schedule.
Rimmel Apocalips Matte ‘Orange-ology’
Finally, this last shade is a new one for me but after having recently been inspired by Gong Hyo Jin in Korean Drama ‘It’s Okay, That’s Love’ I’ve been on the hunt for a orange lip shade ever since. It’s more coral toned than a true orange making it easy to wear, despite it looking quite daunting in the tube. This is also one of Rimmel’s new Matte Apocalips shades. Another review to come soon!
Well that’s it for my Top Lipsticks For Autumn!
What are your favourite lip colours for this season?

Great picks! I have three of these lipsticks and they would also be included in my top lipstick picks for Autumn. That Tom Ford is going on my wishlist too, what a beauty!
